There’s the chance to dig out your bucket and spade and don your sun hat later this month when the seaside comes to a Sheffield suburb.
A whole host of seaside-related activities - along with a real sand-filled ‘beach’ - will be on offer when St Chad’s Church in Woodseats holds its summer fair on Saturday, July 16.
The event is taking place on the church grounds - behind St Chad’s Church House, opposite Abbey Lane School on Abbey Lane - from 2pm.
Visitors can eat ice cream and candy floss whilst watching the Punch and Judy show and try their luck at various games.
Other attractions include live music, and the sandy beach and bouncy castle fir children to play on.
Visitors can also browse the stalls and there’ll also be a seaside hat competition too.
Admission to The Seaside Comes to Woodseats event is free.
