All set to light up in Tickhill

TICKHILL Town Council has arranged for a Christmas tree and lights to be up for the big switch on due to take place on Thursday November 29.

It will coincide with the second annual Tickhill businesses late evening Christmas shopping event.

AUCKLEY Show committee hold a public meeting on Wednesday to listen to ideas and suggestions from villagers for next year’s show in August. The meeting will be at the Eagle and Child pub from 7.30pm and all are welcome.

Toy fair returns

THE first toy collectors’ fair for 18 months returns to Doncaster Racecourse tomorrow from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Harvest quizical

ALL Saints’ Church, Mister-ton Harvest Festival service is tomorrow morning and Harvest Supper takes place on Monday evening at the village primary school from 7.30pm, which also includes a quiz.
