Air ambulance called out to Sheffield suburb

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called out to a suburb of Sheffield earlier this evening.

An eyewitness told how it landed in a field opposite Westwood New Road, near Thompson Hill, in High Green at about 6.30pm.

She added that it flew off less than 10 minutes after landing.

The emergency services have not released any information about the incident yet.
