BOSSES at Doncaster Racecourse are increasing capacity for this year’s St Leger to meet rising demand.

There are still three months to go before the event, but bosses at the Town Moor venue say hospitality in private boxes and Premier Enclosure tickets are all on the verge of selling out.

Mark Spincer, racecourse managing director, said: “The enthusiasm people are showing for the Ladbrokes St Leger Festival this year is truly phenomenal and the racecourse has invested in extensive additional facilities to ensure its guests will be catered for in the best possible style and comfort, with queues for bars, food outlets and toilets kept to an absolute minimum.

“Having posted a record-breaking performance in 2010, we’re delighted that the level of demand for the festival is still on the up, illustrating that it really is a must-attend occasion for people and businesses, not only Yorkshire, the North and Midlands, but also from across the UK and overseas too.”
