THE little girl injured in a road accident after attending a wedding at Doncaster Register Office has been discharged from hospital.

Three-year-old Chloe Standish suffered a head injury when she was in collision with a car at the junction of Bennetthorpe and Roman Road on Saturday, May 28.

Chloe who had travelled from her home in Drumcree, Northern Ireland, with her mum to attend her aunt’s wedding, was treated at Sheffield Children’s Hospital before she was taken back to Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

She was discharged last weekend.

She is staying in the Doncaster area with relatives so she can return to the DRI for physiotherapy treatment.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the collision near the war memorial, which involved a BMW being driven towards the racecourse.
