IT’S an exhibition with real cutting edge...

Two centuries of scissors is the theme of a new show at the Butchers Work on Arundel Street, Sheffield.

The Cutting Edge exhibition was officially opened to the public as part of Heritage Open Days.

Master Cutler William Spiers cut the ribbon to declare the event open.

A wide array of venues across Sheffield threw open their doors or staged special events at part of the annual Heritage Open Day.

Park Hill estate, Sheffield City Hall and Town Hall took part and events included Fulwood Through The Ages and a Heritage Conservation Day at Victoria Quays.
