GOOD causes in Sheffield received more than £9.4 million of National Lottery cash last year.

A total of 168 grants was awarded across the city, including £9,910 to voluntary group Sheffield Active Healthy Lifestyles Group to run dance events for young people and £2,500 to the community organisation Dementia? Welcome! Cafe.

Some £9,685 went to Silkstone Toddlers, a project offering parenting classes, healthy eating and family craft sessions.
