ONE of Sheffield’s fastest-growing companies has announced it is to create 400 new jobs over the next 12 months.

Call centre firm VOICE marketing, which already employs 420 people, is creating the extra posts at The Mount, in Broomhill - one of its two sites in the city, along with Woodseats.

The company, which already works for E.on, Homeserve, nPower and Lloyds TSB, hopes to attract more business from its existing customers and taking on additional contracts.

Director Jonathan Wall said: “We are a growing company but want to stay true to our roots and are expanding in Sheffield.”

New positions being created are set to include apprenticeships to help people on to the career ladder.

Since the company launched in 2006, VOICE said it has grown by 100 per cent each year - and it aims to continue the expansion.

The news comes after broadcaster Sky announced it was creating 500 new jobs with the opening of a call centre on the Digital Campus in the city centre, off Sheaf Street.

VOICE is recruiting through JobCentre Plus and by inviting applicants to call directly on 0114 321 0000.
