250 Sheffield homes and businesses hit by power cut this morning
Around 250 homes and businesses have been plunged into darkness by a power cut in Sheffield this morning.
The lights went out on 150 properties in Hillsborough at 6.30am and the Northern Powergrid said the power would be back on by 9.45am.
In addition, 100 properties were also affected by a power cut in New Totley at 5.30am and it is expected to be back on at 8.45am.
