18-year-old Sheffield man charged after stop and search turns up blade

An 18-year-old Sheffield man has been charged after he was found to be in possession of a blade in a police stop and search.

Officers from the Manor and Arbourthorne team today arrested Alex Bayliss on Daresbury Road in Arbourthorne, just yards away from his Hartopp Avenue home.

He will appear before Sheffield Magistrates Court on the Tuesday, May 22.

A police spokesperson said: "If you are carrying knives then expect to be dealt with accordingly."
