St Mary's Gate Sheffield: 18-year-old motorcyclist not wearing helmet suffers serious head injury after crash

An 18-year-old motorcyclist involved in a collision with a car has suffered a serious head injury and open fracture to his wrist.

The off-road motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet, it has been revealed today. Although serious, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The crash took place on St Mary's Gate at the junction with South Lane, Sheffield, at around 8pm on Saturday, August 12.
