Leviathan follows Ahab, a ship captain hell-bent on capturing the white whale, Moby Dick, a beast as vast and dangerous as the sea itself, yet serene and beautiful beyond all imagining. Ahab’s crew are drawn into the unhinged charisma of their captain, blindly following him on his perilous adventure towards almost certain destruction.

Penistone X Run

Tickets for a colour-run and obstacle course in Penistone are on sale, the event is designed to be physically challenging and loads of fun for children and adults alike. Participants have the chance to bounce their way through, up and over inflatables while also tackling traditional army assault course challenges along with a few hilarious surprises added in. Takes place around Penistone Showground, Saturday, June 10. Tickets are available from Penistone Gala Weekend

Running Wild

The story is of a girl named Lilly, who, while on holiday with her mother in Indonesia, takes an elephant ride. During the ride, Oona, the elephant, suddenly becomes anxious and runs from the beach deep into the jungle. With Lilly on her back, they escape moments before the tsunami hits the island. Miles from civilisation, at first there’s wonder, discovery and tree-top adventures with the orangutans, but, as thoughts turn to her mother left behind on the beach, and wild tigers prowl, and hunger hits, Lilly must now learn to survive the rainforest. And then the hunters come.
