Dog attack Sheffield: Police give update after dog bites horse on face in Greno Woods

Police say they have identified a man in connection with a dog attack on a horse in Sheffield.

The force issued an update thanking the public for sharing a photo of a man with a muscular pit-bull type dog, adding ‘enquiries will continue’. The incident took place on April 19 at Greno Wood, off Penistone Road. The horse was reportedly left severely disfigured. The police information sparked appeals to spare the animal.

Ant-Kel Abbott wrote: “Please don't put the dog down. The dog can be trained.”
