Matt Hancock announces coronavirus press conference: What time will the Health Secretary address nation?

Matt Hancock is set to give a Downing Street coronavirus press conference today.

The Health Secretary will address the nation from from No 10 at 5pm this afternoon (Monday, February 1).

It is understood Mr Hancock’s announcement will focus on efforts to vaccinate everyone in care homes.

It comes after the UK gave more than 600,000 first doses of vaccine in 24 hours on Saturday (January 30) – hitting a daily record.
