Major Rotherham road closed in both directions all day following collision

Police closed a major road in Rotherham all day today, after a crash took place earlier this morning.

Emergency services were called to Centenary Way at around 11.50am today (Thursday, January 28) following reports of a collision on the road.

Police initially closed Centenary Way in both directions to allow emergency services to respond to the crash, however one carriageway has now been re-opened.

It is expected the road will reopen shortly, according to South Yorkshire Police.
