On-loan Sheffield United duo are now working under a history-making head coach in Belgium

Still was promoted through the ranks after the Argentine joined MLS franchise DC United, becoming the youngest person to take charge of a Jupiler League side since the war.

“He (Still) has always played a major role in our coaching staff following his arrival here and has the potential to make it as a head coach,” technical director Sander van Praet said of the 28-year-old. “Will has signed a contract that expires at the end of the season.”

Broadbent, aged 20, missed Still’s debut in the Beerschot dug-out, which ended in a 3-1 defeat by Eupen. However, the midfielder did feature as a substitute when Club Brugge visited Antwerp earlier this month. He replaced his United team mate Ismail Coulibaly, who is also on loan at the Olympisch Stadion during the closing stages of a contest which finished 3-1 in the visitors’ favour. Former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and Senegal international Krepin Diatta were among those to appear for Brugge.

Beerschot, who face Waregem this weekend, are now 10th in the table but will climb above Francky’s Dury’s side if they win.

Losada, aged 38, is the youngest coach in the MLS after agreeing a three year deal at Audi Field.

"I believe in playing every match to win and, in my opinion, the best way of doing this is to create as many scoring chances as possible,” he said.
