ORGANISERS of Bolsterstone Village Fair are praying for sun on Saturday afternoon.
There will be stalls in the village square and amusements, including a bouncy castle and classic cars, in the village field, from 2pm.
Music will entertain the crowds, including the award-winning Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir and the Deepcar Brass Band, as well as organ music in St Mary’s Church. Visitors can also listen to piano playing as they enjoy home made cakes in a tea room in the village hall.
The majority of funds raised will go towards the running and upkeep of the church, with 10 per cent shared between St Luke’s Hospice, the Marines Benevolent Fund, and local boy Ethan Giles-Bowman who has Goldenhar syndrome, which means he was born with only one ear.
