The seaside came to Sheffield at the weekend as The Moor welcomed all the fun of the beach to the city centre.
Children of all ages enjoyed playing in a stretch of sand, while there were also deckchairs for parents and shoppers to relax and soak up some of the summer sun.
The Moor event was run in conjunction with Yellow Bus Events also had fairground rides and attractions, face painting and a fashion show featuring summer trends from Debenhams and Dorothy Perkins.
Shoppers could also meet a mermaid, pose on a giant deckchair and have a ride on a donkey.
Sandra Barley, centre liaison manager for The Moor, said: “It was a fabulous weekend - so many happy families and smiling faces, enjoying all the fun of the seaside. The weather came up trumps and thousands flocked to The Moor to relax, build a sandcastle, enjoy the attractions and buy our Moor rock.”
Also the Heart FM team will be there with the Heart Angels and their outdoor games.
