Takeaway test -
WHEN Britain's best pizza takeaway is within delivery distance what's to choose?
Yes, Pizza Island in Doncaster is a former holder of the title of UK's Best Pizza and Pasta Takeaway Outlet, so it must take some beating and should pass the Takeaway Test with flying colours.

The premises, on Thorne Road a stone's throw from Doncaster Royal Infirmary, are a delight to behold - smart, clean and the walls are adorned with movie artwork as well as cuttings from their scrapbook of awards' success.
They said just 10 minutes for our order and it was nearer to 15 but that short delay was worth it. The Seven Seas pizza, topped with prawns, cockles, mussels, tuna and anchovies was a seafood lover's delight.
My daughter went Back to Basics which tasted better than it sounded, topped with baked beans and sausages. She declared it the best takeaway pizza ever and I can honestly say mine was superior to some I've had in pizzerias in Italy.

Pizza Island also specialises in meal deals between 12 and 17 with all sorts of combinations to fill four tummies.
