'You can hear a pin drop': Worker reveals what it’s like inside empty Meadowhall during lockdown

These pictures show the Sheffield’s normally bustling Meadowhall shopping centre eerily quiet as we enter our sixth week of lockdown due to the coronavirus crisis.

Tom Baumgart, who is working at the centre on essential maintenance, posted them to Facebook lst week, saying ‘you can hear a pin drop’ in there at the moment.
