Non-essential retail stores including Sandersons Department Store, M&Co, Next and Seasalt can now reopen, along with hair and beauty salons, nail bars and gyms.

South Yorkshire’s tier three restrictions mean that the centre’s restaurants will have to remain closed for now, although some are offering a takeaway service throughout December.

Fox Valley’s popular markets, including the Christmas Market, can still go ahead. The Christmas market will run on December 4-6 with a range of local produce as well as crafts and gift ideas.

Some stores will be opening longer hours in the run-up to Christmas and the centre is planning late-night opening on Thursday December 3, 10 and 17.

Tenant liaison executive, Claire Reynolds, said: “The centre is all lit up and ready for Christmas and looks really lovely.

"We are looking forward to more stores able to reopen and of course to welcoming more of our shoppers back to the centre for their Christmas shopping.”
