This Sheffield fashion store has had a makeover using 100 per cent recycled materials

A new era of style is coming to homeless charity Emmaus Sheffield, with a major refurbishment for its second hand store.

The store at the charity’s Cadman Street headquarters has been given a complete makeover, starting with a new home for its range of pre-owned clothing and vintage fashion items.

Shop supervisor Kate Morgan said: “We are very pleased with the new look for our boutique.

“We did all the work ourselves and used almost 100 per cent recycled materials, including things such as recycled scaffolding boards, salvaged metal grids and even an old set of ladders.

“The result is something that fits in completely with the Emmaus ethos of sustainability and recycling.”
