Sheffield Asda's 'brilliant' gesture to NHS staff and key workers

From weekly claps to stories of paramedics having their shopping paid for, the gratitude shown by members of the public has been heartwarming.

And staff at one Sheffield supermarket have done their bit to say thanks to their fellow front line heroes.

‘Thanks to all key workers’ has been creatively spelt out using pepperoni pizzas at Asda on Handsworth Road.

Writing on social media, one woman described the display as “brilliant”.

Others took the time to praise supermarket staff for their ongoing efforts.

Another woman said: “Thank you Asda at Handsworth, you’re doing at brilliant job and your delivery drivers have been fantastic.”

And another woman said: “Thanks to all your staff for making it a safe place to shop x.”
