Coronavirus: These are the traders offering a delivery service from Sheffield's Moor Market

Sheffield’s Moor Market is open for business, bosses have emphasised – after strict new anti-coronavirus measures brought in last night meant its café areas had to shut.

Yesterday the Government forced places such as bars, pubs, restaurants and leisure centres to close in order to strengthen ‘social distancing’ and stem the spread of deadly Covid-19.

But vital food shops are still open – among them the indoor market in Sheffield city centre.

“We are still open and fully stocked for all your food and drink needs,” a post on the Moor Market’s Twitter account said.

“Unfortunately we have had to close our café areas but a few are still doing take-out. There is lots of discounted parking in the Eyre Street Car Park next door. Do your bit and support your local independent businesses.”
