But, great news as from July 4 salons across Sheffield are allowed back open, after the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, announced that we are moving into the third phase of the government’s plan to ease lockdown restrictions.
Salons will be different that before lockdown, with social distancing and protective equipment.

A spokesman for the largest independent salon in the city said: "We are thrilled to announce that we will be re-opening our salon doors on July 4. We have put lots of measures in place to ensure the health and safety of our team and guests - including some exciting little tweaks and even more space for our lovely Wigs customers. This salon which focus on hair health said: "The salon will be opening it's doors again from July 4. We have obviously had to make a lot of changes to your client journey to ensure you and all our staff are as safe as possible. The Star's 2019 Salon of the Year said: "As you will all know we can open on July 4. We can't wait to see you all again. We will be wearing full ppe, and looking very lovely in it I'm sure, you will be required to wear a mask all the time you are in the salon. I will have some for sale if you haven't got one.
