Day 4 Rome (included)

A full day excursion to Rome - in the morning, enjoy a half day guided tour seeing the major landmarks and monuments. Spend the afternoon shopping and sightseeing at leisure.

Day 5 Sorrento and Pompeii (included)

Take a scenic drive to Sorrento. In the afternoon, there's the opportunity to re-live the lives of ordinary Romans in the Chariot worn streets of Pompeii, where time stood still in AD79 when the town was destroyed by a volcano.

Day 6 Tivoli (included)

Enjoy a half day visit to the classical Villa Adriana, built in the 2nd century AD by Emperor Hadrian - now a World Heritage Site. Then in the afternoon, back in Rome, your time is your own.

Day 7 Florence (en route visit)

En route stop in Florence, a treasure trove of art and architecture such as the ancient Ponte Vecchio, Cathedral and Baptistry.
