Currently playing the second space at Cast this Christmas is a festive treat of storytelling for all the youngsters.

Christmas Tales with Granddad uses puppetry, imagination and a great Christmassy background set to set the scene to provide some lovely festive cheer.

Grandad puppet tells his favourite festive stories from his armchair. He is an avid story teller, ad-libbing as the audience join in.

Christmas pants, a lost necklace, missing mince pies, an old lady troll and a naughty gnome puppet called Tomten all make an appearance.

It is one hour in length (just long enough for small ones to sit still!) and all the children watched intently.

For a festive treat to entertain the under 7s this Christmas it gets a thumbs up from me and Katie (aged 7).

Christmas Tales with Grandad is showing through to December 30.
