Ringinglow Walks, SAT 21 FEB. Brown Edge (approx 4 miles). Meet at 9:30am in The Norfolk Arms “Walker’s Bar” for tea or coffee and a short introduction from our guide. We will set off at 10:00am sharp and expect to be back at The Norfolk Arms for lunch by 12:30pm. Only £10 per person, to include: tea or coffee before and after the walk a professionally guided 4 (approximate) mile walk a meal from our “Light Lunch”, sandwich or jacket menu or Soup of the Day. Meet at the Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow, S11 7TS at 9.30. SUN 22 FEB. Wentworth. A 9 mile walk through Wentworth and the surrounding area, including Wentworth Woodhouse, Hoober Stand and Needles Eye. Meet outside Elsecar Heritage Centre, Wath Road, Elsecar, S74 8HJ at 10.0. FRI 27 FEB. Stanage Edge. Above and below Stanage Edge for this 4.5 mile walk. Expect mud and surface water on the first half of the walk along the top of the edge, followed by road walking on the return leg beneath the rocks. Meet at Burbage Bridge at 9.45.
