Fuel your creative needs this half term with a visit to The Painted Teapot in North Derbyshire.

This charming attraction is in Dronfield, just outside of Sheffield.

It was set up 19 months ago by young entrepreneur Lucy Arnold and it has gone from strength to strength.

Lucy, who has been nominated for a young entrepreneur of the year award, said: “The shop offers a number of activities including paint- your-own pottery, decopatch, children’s and adults’ birthday parties and baby and toddler hand and footprints to name just a few.

Lucy said: “It’s a perfect pastime for all ages – from newborn babies to pensioners.

“Pottery painting is fun for everyone and guaranteed to be a great day out.”

In the run-up to Fathers’ Day, The Painted Teapot has a special offer of buy-one-mug, get-the-second half price.

The mugs provide a perfect canvas for young artists to get creative and make a lovely, personalised gift.
