The voter turnout for the elections in recent years have been at historic lows, but the support for dogs at polling stations is approximately 100 per cent.
Of course, dogs have no opinions on the banalities of UK politics, but owners still enjoy dressing them up in rosettes, bow ties and party-coloured leads as they escort voters to the polls.
If we could ask the nation’s dogs how they would run the country, we’d likely be a whole lot better off.
