Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, based in North Anston, is currently looking after eight super-cute dogs and pups ready to head to their forever homes.
There's bulldogs, lurchers, pomeranians and greyhounds - all of which would benefit from a loving home.

5. Baloo, Greyhound
Baloo is a very handsome blue boy. He is very affectionate and enjoys time in reception helping with admin tasks, adjusting to life away from ‘kennels’ Baloo has never wanted to race as he has always preferred to cuddle instead. 6. Bear, Pomeranian x Pug
*Bear must be the only pet in the household* pending medical update. Bear is a 14 week old crossbreed – he will need to attend puppy training classes as part of his adoption agreement. His new family should be mindful about grooming costs and all things puppy! 7. Barney, Spaniel
Barney is an incredibly handsome spaniel who would benefit from experienced owners who are understand of the breed, their physical and behavioural needs and who are confident to train an intelligent boy. He is particularly shy of handling and is very strong on the lead. 8. Tilly, Greyhound
Tilly is a young greyhound who has a lot of learn about the luxury of a family – she is an affectionate girl who enjoys the company of her greyhound friends.
