Lady and Winston are best friends who should be adopted as a pair.
The two Shih Tzus were found as strays, and the shelter says they have not had a single application of interest.
One new face this week is “busy bee” Bramble, the one-year-old Spaniel.
She is cute as a button and perfect for an active home as she is very high-energy.
Those are just a few characters of many who are hoping to find a home.
See the gallery below to see photos of them all, along with a short description from Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.
If you think you could give any of them a home, contact the shelter by clicking here.

17. Pluto
Pluto is a complicated young boy who is has so much potential in the right home. Pluto has shown guarding behaviour both in his previous home and is defensive around his kennel – out and about he is a joy once introduced, and is particularly fond of his favourite kennel hand James. Pluto has lived with another bulldog and could do so again providing they are a good role model for him. He can live with adults only but is housetrained. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

18. Whiskey
Whiskey, a three-year-old Patterdale Cross Bull Terrier, is a very complicated little lady who needs a lot of support to help her re-adjust. She needs an adult only home, with experienced dog owners that can work with her to build on her confidence with new people and dogs. She must live in a quiet environment with no other pets and must have a securely fenced garden area of at least six feet plus. A rural setting is ideal. It is essential that Whiskey has no leaving hours initially, as they must be built up very slowly with realistic expectations as she really struggles to be left alone. Whiskey is a fantastic little project dog, given the right environment and training she has so much potential. She loves to play with the ball and will happily do this for hours. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
