5. Thrybergh Country Park
Located on the outskirts of Rotherham, Thrybergh Country Park provides a relaxing backdrop for a leisurely swim - just don't disturb the swans! Swimyourswim runs sessions at this open water swimming venue on Saturdays from 2-4pm and Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm.
6. Clifton Park
Clifton Park in Rotherham offers an array of sporting activities to partake in, including a small pool - it's more suitable for paddling than swimming, however.
7. Hathersage Swimming Pool
Hathersage Swimming Pool is a little bit out of town, but it's worth the journey. They also frequently hold special events, so, keep an eye out for those.
