Sheffield park of the week - Fountain Square, Sheffield city centre
This small square of green space is set back from the bustle of Barkers Pool.
It’s a tucked away spot in which to take a lunch break, and many an office worker can be seen reading a book or snaffling a sandwich while admiring the flowers. In 2019 plans were revealed to turn it into a musical pocket park with large instruments to play.
