5. Communities celebration
The Migration Matters Festival in Sheffield ends on Saturday, July 17 at 7.30pm with a big closing party featuring music, dance, and food. Guests are Amani Creatives, pictured, Mohammed Yahya and Open Kitchen Social Club. You can either attend in person at Theatre Deli, Eyre Street or watch online. 6. Silent movie celebration
Abbeydale Picture House on Abbeydale Road, Sheffield continues its 100th birthday celebrations on Sunday (July 18) with a second silent films all-day festival. The line-up features four live-scored film performances including a Buster Keaton comedy, new, short films with improvised live scores, iconic early Russian documentary Man With A Movie Camera with live performance by In The Nursery and another Russian film, Eisenstein’s Strike, with a live performance by Frame Ensemble. 7. Popular comedy night

8. Nick's nailed it
Take The Water is the inaugural exhibition at The Nail Boudoir, a new art/design space in the heart of Buxton, part of Buxton Fringe Festival., and based on the town's famous mineral water The space is run by Nick Charnley, who comes from the spa town. For the most part it functions as his studio and workspace but within that is also the option to stage exhibitions in addition to showcasing the space generally. Book at nailboudoir.uk.
