5. Low Bradfield
Low Bradfield - the sister village of nearby High Bradfield - is within the boundary of the city of Sheffield, just over six miles away from the city centre. It has a cricket pitch, a café/art shop called The Schoolrooms and Flask End - a village shop, tearoom and Post Office that is pictured here on the right.

Worrall is four miles northwest of Sheffield city centre and has Viking origins. It has excellent views and two pubs - the Blue Ball and the Shoulder of Mutton.
Elsecar is an attractive village with a rich industrial history. The Elsecar Heritage Centre contains the only Newcomen steam engine in the world to have remained in its original site.
