Reporters working for The Star have chosen their favourite Sheffield spots.
Look through and see if your chosen Steel City destination is on the list.
5. Moss Valley
Julia Armstrong said: “Love the Moss Valley. Discovered it during lockdown when we couldn't travel to the Peak District to walk. Favourite bit is woods near Ford." Photo: 3rd party
6. Houndkirk Moor
Houndkirk Moor is my favourite spot in Sheffield. The rugged countryside you pass is utterly stunning and feels a world away from city life, and yet you're still so close to Sheffield. It also doesn't seem to be quite as popular as other bits of the Peak District so if you're looking for a quieter route, this might be for you. It's nice to walk out to Lady Cannings Plantation and take in the coniferous woodland, and you'll also get a bit of respite from the windy conditions too. Photo: Sarah Marshall
7. Tree-lined path into Norfolk Park
Nancy Fielder said: “My favourite spot in Sheffield is that double tree-lined path into Norfolk Park, off Norfolk Park Road." Photo: Sarah Marshall
8. Sharrow Vale Road
