STAFF at a Sheffield firm who have already raised £10,000 for charity are in training for the city’s Bupa Great Yorkshire Run to raise even more for good causes.
A dozen colleagues from business turnaround and insolvency firm Wilson Field, based on Ecclesall Road, are preparing to take part in the 10k in aid of Neurocare, which supports the neurosciences department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
The team has entered the business challenge which sees teams from different firms compete for the fastest average time.
Phil Meekin of Wilson Field said: “We have supported Neurocare for more than three years with a variety of fundraising initiatives, raising more than £10,000.
The event takes place on Sunday, September 2 in Sheffield city centre.
