At the moment, thanks to the stamp duty holiday and the pent-up demand caused by the first national lockdown, house sales are going through a boom period with properties going from their first listing to being sold subject to contract in double-quick time.

Figures recently revealed that Sheffield has one of the country’s fastest-moving property markets, with homes in the city taking 27 days on average to sell STC – the quickest rate in Yorkshire, and the sixth most rapid in the UK.
