Well-known Sheffield hotel put up for sale for £2.5 million
A buyer is being sought for a Sheffield hotel that is on the market with a £2.5 million price tag.
The Quality Hotel Sheffield North, in Chapeltown, has 37 en-suite bedrooms as well as conferencing and banqueting facilities, and had an annual turnover of £1.3 million before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Property agent Lambert Smith Hampton, which is handling the sale, said the venue – which operates under a franchise agreement with Choice Hotels International – is ‘presented in good condition and well-located’.
“The profitable hotel includes a comfortable lounge bar, snug, an attractive restaurant as well as the conference and banqueting facilities which provide an excellent regional conference, party and wedding venue.
“The hotel is ideally situated between Sheffield and the Peak District, providing easy access to both Sheffield city centre, which is approximately nine miles away, while Junction 36 of the M1 is just one mile distant.”
The firm added: “The hotel is to be sold as a going concern as part of a portfolio. The property is situated on a plot of approximately 1.15 acres with landscape areas, an outside seating area and a car park with space for approximately 60 vehicles.
"We are advised that all fixtures, fittings and other items associated with the running of the business will be included within the sale.”
Viewings are ‘strictly by appointment only’, Lambert Smith Hampton said.
"As this is a confidential disposal, under no circumstances should any party make an indirect approach to the business or the staff of the hotel.”
