The average price of a house in Sheffield’s booming property is £191,000 – so here’s what is on the market for that price.

We teamed up with real estate giant Zoopla and found 10 properties for sale in the city at around the average price, which has risen by £10,000 in the last 12 months.

A study puts Sheffield as the second most in demand location in England, saying homes so far this year have sold with an average of 5.9 offers per sale and the average home costs £191,300.

Estate agency Hamptons found the top 10 in demand neighbourhoods in England are primarily concentrated in the South, as well as Yorkshire and the Humber – where bidding wars are pushing up house prices.

Tom Parker, consumer spokesperson at Zoopla, said: “There’s a lot on offer in Sheffield for its average house price, with it being possible to purchase anything from a two bedroom modern apartment in Kelham Island to a two or three bedroom family home in more residential areas like Meersbrook and Hillsborough.”
