Sheffield houses: Image shows how flats near trendy Kelham Island will look
Plans have been lodged for more than 160 homes and commercial space on a site in Sheffield - and now you can see how the development will look.
Jarron Developments Ltd, supported by Sheffield planning agents Urbana, has submitted a full planning application to Sheffield City Council for a site fronting onto Penistone Road, at the junction with Montgomery Terrace Road and St Philip's Road.
Planning permission is sought for the construction of a ten-storey building to be called Kelham Point.
A computer generated image shows how the flats would look, if approved.

A total of 161 apartments would be created, with one, two and three-bedroom units. Commercial units would be provided on the ground floor.
The plans also include shared resident amenities, cycle parking and landscaping.
A planning statement submitted as part of the application highlights the potential benefits of the scheme including new housing, job creation during construction and increased activity in the area thanks to the commercial units.
The report added: "It is strongly considered that these development proposals will make a significant positive impact on this location, creating activity and interest along Penistone Road and St Philips Road, knitting together Neepsend and Furnace Hill, as well as Philadelphia."
The project team includes Urbana, Buttress, Jameson, Redmore, Edge, Estrada, Bowland, Curtains, GIA, Paul Butler Associates, Harley Haddow, Alt Fire, and Our Studio.
