The figures are in for which postcodes in the Steel City command the highest price in 2026.
The Office for National Statistics released these figures for the median house price in each of Sheffield’s ‘middle layer super output areas’, or MSOAs - which is a system for how areas of the England are broken up into blocks of around 5,000-15,000 people for statistical analysis.
There are 76 of these MSOAs and they often show stark differences in how some areas are eye-wateringly expensive compared to others.
The leap from the lowest priced neighbourhood (Burngreave & Grimesthorpe, £105,000) to the most expensive neighbourhood (Dore & Whirlow, £525,000) is more than five times the price.
Below are the 20 most expensive Sheffield neighbourhoods in which to buy a house, based on the median price paid during the year ending in March 2025.
