A Grade II-listed mansion in the Peak District with features that date back hundreds of years is on the market with an asking price of £1 million.

The Dower House can be found in the village of Winster, near Matlock, next to the parish church.

It was built in the late 1700s with alterations and additions made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The house has three reception rooms, six bedrooms and a south-facing garden containing an outbuilding that could be used as an office.

“The Dower House is very impressive, offering spacious and flexible accommodation over three floors,” says Fisher German, the estate agent handling the sale.

The property is listed on Zoopla.
