Figures reveal the 10 Sheffield areas where the population is declining

The population of Sheffield has increased by 3.8 per cent – from 563,463 to 584,853 – since 2014, according to the latest figures from the Office of National Statistics.

But some Sheffield wards have recorded a decline in their population over the last five years of available data.

These are the city areas where the population either fell, or grew by the smallest amount locally, from 2014 to 2019.
