DIY prayers answered- IKEA launch furniture assembly service in Sheffield

Sheffield is one of six new areas across the UK to take advantage of the service, through TaskRabbit, which will be available from the end of January.

IKEA’s relationship with TaskRabbit aims to help customers with their needs in and around the home, from furniture assembly and wall mounting to minor home repairs.

Daniel Lundholm, Country Customer fulfilment manager, IKEA UK & Ireland, said: “We know that increasingly, people are living extremely busy lives, so we want to make things easier for them by offering affordable and convenient services, like TaskRabbit.

“Expanding TaskRabbit means that more people across the UK can have their furniture built when they want, at high quality and at a low price, giving them more time to spend with their loved ones.”
