‘Childish!’: Sheffield sign gets rude makeover but not everyone found it funny

Mona Road in Crookes was temporarily transformed into ‘Bona Road’, much to the amusement of nearby residents.

The temporary alteration was spotted by locals on Wednesday.

“Someones got some balls,” one resident wrote of the graffiti, while another quipped: “I laughed far too hard at that.”

But not everyone was impressed.

One resident criticised the act as “childish”.

The graffiti has since been removed.
