"Vases with fresh flowers or foliage cut from your garden look fantastic as well. Storage baskets are a great way to make clutter look contained, and they can be taken with you when you sell your house." Photo: Pixabay
"Chances are people will want to see how much storage is inside your kitchen cupboards, so it's worth a quick once over if your cupboards are overflowing. Clear and shine work surfaces, appliances and hobs. And put away things like tea towels and oven gloves, washing up liquid, sponges etc. Put out a bowl of fresh fruit or have a nice bottle of wine on display." Photo: Pixabay

"Put away shampoo, shower gel, cosmetics etc. Toothbrushes/toothpaste look better in pots on a sink, and shine any shower screens and mirrors.
