Heart-warming moment 'Britain's best postie' saves the day by telling homeowner urgent news over Ring doorbell
This is the heart-warming moment 'Britain's best postie' saved the day by using a Ring doorbell to tell a Stocksbridge homeowner he had left his keys in the door.
Reece Holmes, aged 35, was walking home from his local petrol station when his postman, Jamie Peter Sinclair, 38, rang the Ring doorbell to drop off a parcel.

Reece, from Stocksbridge, picked up on his phone saying "y'alright pal?" only for Jamie - who was wearing a Santa hat - to tell him he had left his keys in the door.
The dad-of-two was over the moon when Jamie told him.
Jamie then asked Reece if he could leave the parcel inside his house, to which he agreed - but as he did, Jamie said "I got me Grinch thong on an'all" causing Reece to laugh out loud.
Jamie also joked to Reece about nipping in for a cup of tea and to see what was in the fridge.
Reece said upon returning home he found his parcels - which were Christmas presents for his five-year-old son and two-year-old daughter - safely inside his house.
Reacting to the conversation, he said: "He's been my postie for four years now, he is actually a friend of mine.
"I see him on the school run sometimes and we always have a good laugh - he's a sound lad.
"I'm thankful for his kindness as he has done if off his own back. If someone else found my keys it could have been a disaster.
"I mean he has done things like this before including put parcels through my cat flap.
"Everyone needs a postman like Jamie."
