severn Trent Water is encouraging Sheffield folk to get fit this spring by taking a trip out to its reservoirs in the Upper Derwent Valley.
Andrew Parsons, head of visitor sites for Severn Trent, said: “The reservoirs are a great place to get out and get active while being surrounded by some spectacular views of the Peak District.
“There’s a lot to do at Derwent, Howden and Ladybower reservoirs - something for everyone.
“Whether they’re training for the next marathon, cycling, or just in need of a leisurely walk, we’d encourage customers to come and enjoy our tracks and trails, while taking in some great views of the Derbyshire countryside.
“There are a number of bridle paths for horse riders to explore, as well as activities for families, with plenty of space for outdoor games.”
